A necessity to getting the perfect rat, even the inmates need to occassionally fill out some legal documents. Here you can find the custom forms needed to get a custom rattie. <3
Before filling out the form, be sure to familiarize yourself with the rat NAME rules!
The thread may be found in the "Educate Yourself" board.
Important Information Regarding Custom Edit and Cosplay Rats[/u]
Custom cosplay does not include just anything, and the naming rules still apply to these rats. When thinking of a cosplay for a Victorian Thea Rat, think of a Victorian or Elizabethan style to work with. Corsets, ribbons, feathers, fans, chokers, etc. When looking at cosplay and edits for a Steampunk Plague Rat, then you must think of Victorian and old days Europeanesque style, or any other styles that fit the steampunk theme. Think of cogs and steam powered objects, monocles and science, etc.
For better examples of both of these themes when considering edits for your rat, you can google "Victorian/Elizabethan England" or "Steampunk" for some helpful ideas to base off of or to be inspired by!
Emilie Autumn is also a good source of inspiration from both themes as well. :3
That means no kimonos for a Victorian rat, or t-shirts and jeans and anything else that's more modern. Though the world outside the asylum is modern and thus parts of your inmate's design can be modern and is exceptionally more free to design, the rats live in this old asylum and don't have any means of the outside world.
Just as well, these rats do not get "mutations" (like wings, horns, etc.) like other adoptables do. Their accessories are their mutations.
Cosplays cannot include "unsuitable" fictitious characters.
i.e. certain anime characters (such as Inuyasha, Naruto, Bleach, etc), movie characters (such as Twilight, etc.) and so on cannot be used if they do not fit the theme. For example, Elizabeth Swann from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean would be a perfect example of a good cosplay for a Victorian Thea Rat. However, Jack Sparrow would not be a suitable character for a Victorian Thea Rat.
If you're not sure about a character that you're deciding on, feel free to ask if you're unsure if a cosplay idea is suitable or not.
But! Do not fret if you cannot use a certain character just yet. With more breeds come more cosplay options! If there will be a pirate breed, then pirate cosplay rats can be made. If we make a Japanese breed of rats, then more Japanese kinds of characters will be open to the floor for cosplay. AND of course, original character cosplays that fits a rat theme will be more than welcome as well.
Exclusive Items
Exclusive items[/u] (or Limited Edition Items) are not available for customs. Whether they are for a holiday or a particular event, they are still limited! However, we may still hand them out in premades or may even give out vouchers to win said item, but these will be the only other way to get them.
